Hendrick Miralles – The man behind the glass

High above the rooftops of Saint-Tropez, with the Mediterranean as his backdrop and a squeegee in hand, that’s where you’ll often find Hendrick Miralles. As the founder of 4M Lavage de Vitres and ambassador for Lamatex, he combines technical skill with a strong sense of aesthetics. Hendrick’s work reflects more than just sunlight. It reflects precision, passion, and pride in the craft.
Window cleaning was always part of his world. “My father was a window cleaner too,” Hendrick explains. “So the world of window cleaning was familiar from early on.”
But it wasn’t a legacy handed to him. He built his own path. After gaining solid experience at a major cleaning company, he took the leap in 2019 and launched 4M Lavage de Vitres as a solo venture.
What started as a one-man operation quickly turned into a trusted name. Today, 4M is known for its high-end service in Ramatuelle and Saint-Tropez, where every detail counts and no window is out of reach.
“Our clients expect perfection,” Hendrick says. “Discretion, precision, respect for the location; that’s what we bring.”
A perfect match: Moerman & 4M
Hendrick discovered Moerman through social media. One tool in particular changed everything. “The Excelerator handle was my first Moerman tool. Since then, I honestly can’t imagine working without it.”
It wasn’t just the performance that impressed him; it was the feeling in his hand. “You can tell these tools are built for professionals. The angle control, the grip, the way it’s designed; it just works. And it lasts.”
Then came a surprising connection. “Moerman blue? It’s the exact same blue as my brand. And the same as the sea I see every day. That deep Riviera blue really connects everything I do.”
More than clean glass: content with character
With over 13K followers on TikTok, Hendrick has turned his daily work into visual storytelling. What began with a few spontaneous clips has grown into a recognisable style with sharp angles, smooth movements, and reflections stretching across the Riviera skyline.
“I love showing the job as it really is. The setup, the gear, the rhythm.”
His videos don’t just highlight results; they show the process. From early-morning light to rooftop views, his feed captures the full picture. One of his favourite projects was filmed at the KUBE Hotel in Saint-Tropez.
“It’s more than just satisfying shots. It’s about showing the human side of the work.”
Final wisdom: be like a cat
Before we close, Hendrick shares a piece of advice for anyone starting out in the trade: “Take it slow. Mastering the technique takes time. You can’t rush clean lines.”
And above all: work with care. “You’re often working in people’s homes. That means being careful, quiet, respectful. That’s why I always say: A good window cleaner is like a cat. Discreet, agile, in control of every movement. Able to glide through a space and leave nothing behind but clean glass.”
