Joshua Amoroso: Generations of Crystal-Clear Passion

For Joshua Amoroso, window cleaning is more than just a profession — it’s a family tradition. His wife’s grandfather, father, and uncle all built their lives around glass, and today Joshua proudly carries that legacy forward. “My three sons are going to be fourth-generation window cleaners,” he says.

Why moerman tools became essential to his craft

Joshua first came across Moerman tools around ten years ago, when the Liquidator was launched. “I bought it right away,” he recalls. “It was innovation the industry had never seen before — exciting and different.”

On his YouTube channel Joshywashy, he shares authentic reviews and advice. “I’ve been cleaning windows for 11 years, and I actually learned a lot from YouTube myself. That gave me a sense of obligation to create real content — honest reviews and efficient tips that help both beginners and experienced cleaners.”

For Joshua, there isn’t one favorite video. “I see it as a body of work. Each video is just a piece of the puzzle. The complete impact will come when I’ve touched on every tool, technique, detergent, and angle — when the whole system comes together.”

His advice to anyone starting out? “Stay passionate about the technical aspect of window cleaning. After you’ve learned sales, marketing, and professionalism, the main focus of every cleaner’s business is streak-free results. If you never lose the love and passion for the craft, you’ll never work a day in your life. It only becomes work when you stop loving it.”

Looking Ahead

Constantly seeking efficiency, Joshua continues to evolve as both a window cleaner and content creator. “I’ve used small channels, big channels, circle buckets to square buckets, and now I even clean without buckets using the Spray Ray. After trying all of Moerman’s tools together as a system — including the Sqeeuze Deluxe Detergent and NXT-R rubber created for the Liquidator — I feel I’ve reached the pinnacle of traditional window cleaning.”
